Get to know UD Maracena, Valencia CF's opponent in the first round of the Copa del Rey
Founded in 1945, the Granada-based team plays in the Andalusian División de Honor and won the 2025 Andalusia Cup.
A debutant in the Valencian derby for Valencia CF, Rubén Iranzo became the latest youth system product to make his LaLiga debut this term. The second half substitute recounted the experience to VCF Media at the end of a memorable night.
A debut appearance
It's an immense joy. I'm very, very happy. I'm also very grateful to the coaching staff and the coach for the opportunity, to the club and, above all, to my family. They've been supporting me since I was little, and in the end we've achieved this dream. Playing for my boyhood club is the best.
Support from the stands
My family were in the stands. They were able to come here. It was an extra boost, and they were able to experience this with me. We're very happy.
Bordalás' instructions
The coach told me to stay calm and to play the way that I know how, staying strong in every challenge.
The VCF Academy
The club always look to youth when they need to, and we are ready. That's the most important thing. We work every day, in both the second team and the youth teams, to be prepared to make the most of any opportunity.
